We believe in the growth and success of our wholesale partners, and we back that with training, equipment and people. Hear it from the cafés themselves on our testimonials page.

Our wholesale coffee beans

We roast on custom Brambati roasters at Seven Hills. Our roasting team has over 20 years of experience selecting, importing and roasting coffee, and roasts for consistency from small batches to larger volumes. Wholesale orders are sealed fresh into one-way valve bags.

We also release new single origins every month. Through our Single Origin Collective, we invite café and wholesale partners to be among the first to try them. We focus on buying green coffee from estate farms and co-operatives where farmers receive a fair wage.

What our wholesale partners get

The coffee is only part of a Paradox wholesale partnership.

Barista training

The Paradox Training Academy runs in-house and online. Its programs cover Café Setup, Barista Espresso Fundamentals, Latte Art and Alternate Brew Methods, and larger café groups can add Train the Trainer. We also hold cupping and education sessions at the Paradox Labs or at your own venue.

Equipment and servicing

We supply specialty equipment from brands including La Marzocco, Rancilio and Victoria Arduino. Every piece is tested before it's installed, then kept on a service maintenance schedule, so you don't have to keep track of when the next service is due. We can service your coffee equipment, and our emergency support runs around the clock.

Account management and marketing

Our structured account management process supports you before launch, during launch and after it. Our team brings business education as well as barista skills. We help with marketing too: we welcome new partners in our Welcome to the Paradox Family series and feature partner baristas as Barista of the Month.

Contract roasting and private label

Want coffee under your own name? We contract roast blends to your specification, with anything from a simple label to fully customised packaging.

How it works

  1. Enquire. Use the form at the bottom of this page to send us your contact details, your business name and address, and anything you'd like us to know.
  2. Taste and choose. We talk through your menu, your equipment and your customers, and help you choose a coffee. Ask about samples, a cupping session or a visit to the roastery.
  3. Set up and launch. We support you before and during launch, from Café Setup training to equipment that's tested before it's installed.
  4. Order and grow. How you order and how often we deliver depends on your café, and we agree both when we set up your account. After launch we keep checking in, new staff can train through the Academy, and each month brings new single origins to try.

“James and Ben spent hours working with me to select which blend would be best for my cafe and clientele.”

Buying for an office rather than a venue? Our office coffee subscriptions start at 2kg per delivery. Buying for home? Our blends come in 1kg bags in the online shop.

What wholesale coffee costs

We don't publish a wholesale price list. We quote each account individually.

When you compare wholesale coffee suppliers, look past the price per kilo. Training, equipment servicing, emergency support and account management all change what your coffee really costs, and a cheaper bean without them can cost your café more.

“When we chose to partner with Paradox we were looking for service, quality and price in that order. Ben is an amazing sales rep and goes beyond our expectations to deliver the very best service, quality and price. We chose the Purple Rain blend as it aligns with our brand ethos, and our customers love this coffee blend.”

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply wholesale coffee outside NSW?

Yes. We roast in Seven Hills, NSW, and the café partners on our testimonials page include venues in Mackay, Brisbane, Main Beach and Alexandra Hills in Queensland, and Brighton in South Australia. The Paradox Training Academy runs online as well as in-house.

Is there a minimum order?

It depends on your café, so we agree order sizes with you when we set up your account. When you enquire, tell us roughly how much coffee you use each week. If you're ordering for an office rather than a café, our office subscriptions start at 2kg per delivery.

Can we taste the coffee before we commit?

Yes, and we'd encourage it. Ask about samples and a cupping session when you enquire, or about visiting the roastery. Try the coffee as espresso and through milk, on your own equipment if you can, and let your baristas see how it behaves during service.

Which blend suits my café?

It depends on your menu. For a menu built on milk coffees, start with Penny Lane, Poker Face or Paper Moon. Purple Rain Organic works in milk and as a black coffee, and Picasso Baby is sparkling and bright. We'll help you choose, and a cupping session is a good way to compare them side by side.

How do I choose a wholesale coffee supplier?

Start with taste, then look at what sits behind the price per kilo: training, technical support, delivery reliability, sourcing and account management. The best supplier is not always the cheapest one. Our guide to choosing a wholesale coffee supplier for your café includes a checklist of questions to ask.
